"Omicron" is the code name for a group of Omi-Humans who were created by Project Ascension.

The members are gifted with powerful abilities because of a leaked chemical spill that infected 123 humans. These Omi-Humans came together to battle Project Ascension and protect others like themselves. This earned them the reputation of being heroes.

History[]

Origins[]

The group was initially formed when Jonathon Fielder, Seth Alder, and Lauren King came into contact with chemical materials lost by Project Ascension. Jonathon gained the ability to create forcefields out of atomic energy; Seth could mutate into a dragoon like form at will; and Lauren could transform her body into mineral substances.

The trio initially kept their abilities hidden but they were eventually discovered by PA agents. Project Ascension had gained the approval to capture all humans who had come into contact with their chemical substances. The three then left their former lives behind and fled from the authorities.

Eventually they would meet up with two other Omi-Humans: Jade Macintosh, who could alter the sensory perception of others, and Lionel Madison, who had super strength, endurance and could magnetically attract metal to his body to create armor.

The five teens were hunted by a PA agent name Locke and finally came into conflict with him after he had forcibly injected himself with the same chemicals turning him into a demonic behomoth. As they fought Locke now calling himself Behomoth they attracted the attention of several media stations. Under Jonathons leadership they managed to defeat Behomoth and save the lives of many citizens. The five are then named Atomix(Jonathon), Dragoon (Seth), Geo-Girl (Lauren), Tricks (Jade), and Scrapyard (Lionel). They then declare themselves to be the Omicron Five.

Gravitator Saga[]

Several weeks after their conflict with Behomoth, the five heroes have been constantly avoiding authorities and trying to uncover the origins of their powers. The group does continue to do hero work mostly due to the urging of Scrapyard. Eventually, the five meet up with another group of teen Omi-Humans that came from the same highschool. In their ranks are Gravitator (Adam Worsch) with the ability to control gravity, Poltergeist (Christiana Worsch) with the ability to transform into a ghost, Solar (Aubrey Henault) who absorbs and releases solar energy, Warhammer (Blake Leslie) who was covered with bone armor, Glob-Guy (Rudy Lamont) whose physical makeup was elastic and malleable, Stampede (Lindsay Scott) witht he ability to transform into a rhino, and Cyclone (Kate Fielder) who could generate elementaly twisters.

This group of new Omi-Humans were led by Gravitator and at first were quite friendly with the Omicron Five. However, relations soon deteriorated after it is revealed that Gravitator plans on engaging in terrorist acts to proclaim the Omi-Humans independent of human influence. He then plots to lift Manhattan into the sky to become the nee land for all Omi-Humans. After revealing his plans to both groups the Omicron Five immediately turn against him joined by Glob-Guy and Stampede. Poltergeist, Warhammer, Solar, and Cyclone follow along with Gravitators plan and the two groups engage in battle in the streets of New York.

Warhammer, Cyclone, and Solar engage the Omicron Five and the New Omicron in the streets of New York while Gravitator begins to pull Manhattan into the sky. Atomix and Dragoon eventually break off from the main fighting and head towards Time Square where Gravitator is. Gravitator easily disposes of both of them and the rest of the group does not fare well. Stampede is thrown through several building by Solar. Geo-Girl and Scrapyard are stuck in a stalemate with Warhammer, and Tricks and Glob-Guy can't get the upper hand over Cyclone.

Poltergeist is eventually convinced by Dragoon of her brother's clear insanity and she begs him to reconsider his actions. When he refuses Poltergeist distracts him long enough for Atomix to trap him in a force field and slam him into the ground. Upon seeing their leader defeated Cyclone flees into the sewers, and Warhammer is knocked unconscious then taken by authorities. Solar attempts to get Gravitator and convince him to flee, however; she is then horrifically impaled by the deranged Gravitator.

Gravitator then attempts to kill all the Omi-Humans, but he is swiftly incapacitated by Poltergeist. The group then quickly flees as Project Ascension agents apprehend Warhammer and Gravitator and collect Solar's body. After they get out of the city the group renames themselves "New Omicron" and vow to take down Project Ascesnion and other rogue Omi-Humans.

Ending Ascension[]

More months have passed by since Gravitator attempted to dislodge manhattan. The Omicron team now calls themselves New Omicron and continue to flee from PA agents while defeating several rogue omi-humans. The team has also become one of the most popular superhero groups in the United States despite their fugitive status.

Scrapyard and Geo-Girl began a relationship when they weren't fighting despite the circumstances. Also a m love triangle between Atomix, Tricks, and Dragoon had began to grow.

In a battle in chicago with a omi-human who could dissolve and substance they are aided by another hero named Dark Gate (Katie Valmore) who could teleport using portals. Afterwards she is invited to join the team. However, they are then ambushed by PA agents who manage to subdue Geo-Girl, Stampede, and Scrapyard. The others manage to evade capture and plot to rescue their friends.

Dragoon and Atomix begin to argue about what to do with Dragoon believing they just need to attack the facility where the omi-humans are held and Atmoix believing they should bring this information to the government and public. Dark Gate and Tricks leave with Dragoon while Poltergeist, Glob-Guy stay with Atomix and attract several media stations. Atomix gives a report of what Project Ascension has been doing to him and other omi-humans. As he talks they are attacked by PA agents and manage to subdue them publically without killing. However, afterwards the military arrives and demands that Atomix surrender. They almost succeed in capturing the three, but they are saved by The Renegade.

Meanwhile Dragoon managed to track the agents back to their facility on the outskirts of Chicago. Atomix asks for The Renegade's help in recruiting other heroes to aid them, but he blatantly refuses. The Renegade explains that heroics isn't why he saved them and immediately leaves them to fight on their own. atomix is clearly shaken from the events that transpired and then goes to follow Dragoon in fighting Project Ascension.

Instead of waiting for Atomix, Dragoon attacks the facility head on. They manage to break into the facility and find a prisoner holding bay and immediately release many omi-humans who were captured. Scrapyard is among the released prisoners and reveals that the PA has been systematically removing the powers of omi-humans and then disposing of the subjects. Dragoon is enraged by this and decides to make sure that the facility is burned to the ground and the research destroyed.

Gravitator also is revealed to be a prisoner along with Cyclone and his new protege Core who can teleport. He aids Dragoon by causing havok and slaughtering PA Agents. A fight soon breaks out between them and Scrapyard and other prisoners including Smoke (Aubrey Katmin) who could shift into a smoke form and duplicate herself, Glacier (Tamagachi Hon) who could produce glass shards from his body, Arsonist (Adam Mackey) whose body was drenched in oil that he could ignite, and Pupeteer (Rowen Pierce) who could control electrical impulses in other living creatures. Dragoon,

Dark Gate, and Tricks continue to venture into the facility destroying everything as they go. Director Crane then orders that the Omi-Humans be stricken of their powers with the weaponized remover. At that time Atomix, Glob Guy, and Poltergeist arrive at the facility and find an operation room where Geo-Girl and Stampede are held. After they free them Director Crane releases Behomoth and New Omicron is forced to engage him in battle.

Dragoon, Tricks, and Dark Gate get closer and closer to Director Crane's office when they are attacked by multiple agents wielding the weaponized remover. Dark Gate is hit almost instantaneously and is soon depowered. Dragoon and Tricks attempt to fight off the attackers but to no avail. Suddenly Behomoth crashes into the room with New Omicron running in. With Dragoon in a moment of confusion they fire the remover at him and he is depowered. Tricks however continues to evade being hit and in a moment of frustatraion one of the agents pulls out a gun and fires randomely eventually hitting her in the chest. Before anyone can react she falls into Dragoon's arms dead. New Omicron in a moment of rage quickly defeats and incapcitates every agent in the room.

Atomix attempts to motiviate Dragoon, but to no avail and he departs with the rest of the team. Dark Gate then calls Dragoon to move Tricks' body outside the building, but he declares himself no longer Dragoon and picks up a miliatry knife calling himself Grim.

New Omicron arrives at Director Cranes office and quickly defeats all the agents. Atomix and Crane soon engage in a heated, verbal debate which is suddenly disturbed by the arrival of Grim (Dragoon). Despite the pleadings of his teamates he kills Director Crane and departs with Dark Gate, now calling herself just Katie.

As New Omicron leaves the facility many omi-humans thank them for rescuing them and they are offered asylum by one of the omi-humans named Photos who put together his own team of omi-humans. The group then departs with them joined by Scrapyard.

Smoke, Glacier, and Arsonist however decide to form their own superhero team named Trilogy and head to the west coast.

When Nightmare arrives he is able to easily incapicate Glob-Guy and Poltergeist and turns them against their teamates. New Omicron is helpless against the psychic attacks and they all soon are defeated with only Pupeteer and Stampede still standing.

Nightmare then reveals that Pupeteer was his protege and accomplice as they hunted and killed other omi-humans shocking Stampede. Stampede in a rage gives into her inner animal and is momentarily uncontollable by Nightmare. She manages to break herself and Pupeteer out of the mansion and the two flee back to Photos' camp.

As the rest and prepare to save their friends. Pupeteer reveals to Stampede that Nightmare was the one who trained him to use his powers and had been manipulating him and many other omi-humans for years. When the tried to rebel and escape they were all killed save Pupeteer. He had been hunting Nightmare ever since. Straight A then walks in revealing that he had called in Amethyest of the Earthguard to aid them in the telepathetic warfare.

Pupeteer, Stampede, Photos, Straight A, Amethyest, Tick Tock, and another young mutant named Shiftet (Lucy Caster, Shape shifting) return to the Scott mansion. They engage the posessed New Omicron members and Amethyest is able to shield them from the powerful psychic attacks. Eventually the battle is left only between Amethyest and Nightmare. Nightmare eventually gains the upper hand and defeats Amethyest, only to be frozen by Pupeteer. Pupeteer then stops all eletrical impulses in Nightmares brain rendering him in a coma.
